Today I

Well, did nothing extraordinary except work. If I'm not working at school, then I'm home working on my doctorate (which seems to go on forever...there must be an end to this tunnel).

I am awaiting my fellow classmates to join in discussion and group interaction. It's been a weird day weather-wise. Texas is a weird state weather-wise. Yesterday we had stifling heat and today it was almost too cool. But I don't complain - much!

In the beginning

I never liked blogging much...but I could get used to this. It's curious that I don't "dig" blogging because I am an otherwise prolific writer, teacher of writing, developer of creative writing courses and of course writing home :) !

And so, here I am, dragged kicking and screaming, into a blog - that I think I like.

The first day of writing for this course is not stressful - and believe me, I would know stress if it were sitting right next to me - and it is. However, I am ignoring it and will continue to do so.

To my fellow classmates: welcome to my blog. I am hoping to read everyone's blog...which I'm sure will surpass my ramblings. Considering the world of texting and emails and whatever technology comes today, I think this is a great forum for those who treasure literacy.

I welcome your comments and introductions.
